Why should I use Key Health?

Key Health provides prompt payment for your personal injury lien cases and eliminates all financial risk and collection expense on these cases.Through a customized partnership program, Key Health can also assist with marketing and sales programs designed to help increase your business volumes, consistent with legal and ethical responsibilities.

How does the process work?

We will work with your staff to develop a simple process that fits well within your parameters.  Typically, a request is forwarded by the medical provider to Key Health for funding evaluation on the procedure being considered.  Once approved, the patient receives treatment through your facility and the bill is forwarded to Key Health.  Payment is remitted according to the agreed terms.  Key Health does not involve itself in medical decisions. 

Is there a maximum dollar amount for the purchase of lien accounts?

There is no pre-determined financial limit in the Lien Solutions Program.  Key Health evaluates each requested service based on the anticipated cost.  In conjunction with the patient's attorney, Key Health determines whether the requested services can be financed through the Lien Solutions Program. There may be limitations on the total amount determined to be financially prudent based on the specifics of the patient's case.   

Is there any cost to use Key Health’s services?

Key Health does not charge a fee to medical providers participating in the Lien Solutions Program.

How will the program impact my billing and collections?

Key Health offers a systematic approach to handling Personal Injury lien referrals so that you or your facility can treat these patients in a manner similar to the other payers of your practice.  This eliminates long outstanding accounts receivable, with a guaranteed payment by Key Health in a guaranteed short timeframe.  Most providers find this enhancement in cash flow to be a welcome change to their practice.

How will participation in this program affect my existing customer relationships?

Key Health understands the importance of your relationships with patients, referring physicians and attorneys. We are sensitive to these relationships and do our best to ensure our staff exhibits consistent and professional communication that is balanced by flexibility.  We focus on long-term relationships with attorneys in each community and emphasize this with our staff.  Over time, many of the attorneys that we work with come to rely on Key Health as a solution for their injured clients. 

 

Can my existing accounts receivable for lien/letter of protection patients be evaluated by Key Health?
